Benau Viljoen, a seasoned hunter and outfitter, added Kwaggarif African Safaris as a second farm near Groblersdal, realizing his dream on May 5, 1997. Growing up surrounded by the wild, Benau developed an early passion for nature and hunting. This legacy has been passed down to his son, David, creating a dynamic team dedicated to providing an authentic safari experience.

Benau's connection to the African wilderness runs deep. As both the outfitter and a Professional Hunter, his expertise is the cornerstone of Kwaggarif's commitment to ethical and sustainable hunting. With over 30 years of experience in the hunting industry, Benau's intimate knowledge of the land, combined with his proficiency as a hunter, ensures that every safari is a personalized and memorable adventure. Benau took the first step in realizing his dream when he purchased his inaugural farm near Groblersdal on May 5, 1997.
David Viljoen
David Viljoen, a true son of the bush, serves as the Professional Hunter and guide. With a lifetime of exposure to the wild, David's tracking skills and deep understanding of animal behavior enhance your safari, making each hunt a unique and rewarding adventure. David is registered at PHASA (Professional Hunters’ association of South Africa).
