Benau Viljoen, a seasoned hunter and outfitter, established Kwaggarif African Safaris as a second farm near Groblersdal, fulfilling his dream on May 5, 1997. Growing up in the midst of African wildlife, Benau developed a passion for nature and hunting from an early age.

With over 30 years of experience in the hunting industry, Benau's extensive knowledge of the land, combined with his skill as a hunter, ensures that every safari is a personalized and unforgettable adventure. He took the first step toward realizing his dream when he purchased his first farm near Groblersdal on May 5, 1997.

KD Steyn, Benau's son-in-law, is an exceptional guide and professional hunter (PH) whose innate understanding of the African landscape transforms every safari into a deeply enriching experience. With a natural ability to read the bush and an intuitive respect for its rhythms, he offers guests insightful guidance that goes far beyond wildlife sightings.
